The 2009 Tour was a Great Success!!

I'm happy to say that we had a great turnout, with over 200 people attending (with only advertising in the neighborhood)! Once all was said and done, we were able to contribute $1401.01 to the Crieve Hall Cares Committee, and we're eager to get started on how we can best utilize this money to benefit members here in Crieve Hall. We want to be able to use it wisely in a way that really helps those that may not have any other family or options. We have a new blog devoted to this committee-- please visit it at www.CrieveHallCares.blogspot.com.

If you have feedback, pictures from the event, or any other words of wisdom (or want to get involved for next year), please email me at Ashley@48Days.com. A BIG thank you to everyone who attended, to the volunteers that helped organize it, to CHNA for coordinating money logistics, and to the homeowners for opening their doors to us!

I've gotten some great feedback already:

I want to thank you for organizing the tour of homes. I am happy to see that there will be a slideshow of the homes. I have been trying to describe to some of my friends how fantastic the homes look, and now, with the slideshow, they will be able to see for themselves! I look forward to next year's tour!

Thank you!

Now, we're happy to show the beautiful slideshow that Stephanie Hambley with Bella Bambino Photography took of our homes-Thank you Stephanie!

Your next opportunity to connect with the community is August 4th at the National Night Out Against Crime. We'll have a table set up there to sign up for the CHCC and we'd love to see everyone there!

No information about the child is retained. If you have not yet done this, it would be a great opportunity.
